Why would I need a lift or hoist?

Hoists, lifts or Basket Handling Systems on vapor degreasers are becoming essential operating equipment and standard operating procedure for many companies. The ability to load parts into a basket and then have the automated system process the parts while allowing the operator to perform other functions reduces cleaning processing errors while increasing productivity and efficiency. Operators can be completing other tasks while the vapor degreaser is processing parts.

Additionally, the hoist allows for more and/or heavy parts to be processed than would otherwise be possible by a single operator. The uniformity and consistency of cleaning process and reduced operator error makes hoists (or lifts) an excellent addition to any vapor degreasing system.

Automated Basket System (BHS)

Basket Handling System (Dual Axis Lift) - Ground Loading

Basket Handling Dual Axis Lift - Right to Left Load/Unload

  • Parts baskets are loaded at ground level on the right side of the unit and removed on the left side as part of a production line

Gantry Basket Handling System

  • Parts are loaded on the side of the degreaser and manually processed using the wireless remote

  • The basket can travel vertically and horizontally to allow for boil side dwell and immersion in ultrasonics

  • Excellent option for heavy loads (e.g. 800 lbs)

  • The gantry height and length can be tailored to footprint requirements

The gantry provides processing versatility for handling heavy loads.

Dual Basket Handling Elevators

Feature Description
Movement BHE - Vertical elevator moves in and out of ultrasonic sump.
BHS - Horizontal Travel over boil sump and ultrasonic immersion sump. Vertical Travel with 5 vertical stop positions on each horizontal axis. Position and length of dwell is PLC controlled.
