3M Novec™ solvents will be discontinued by the end of 2025 and last order being accepted is March 31st, 2025. Many companies are searching for a suitable replacements that provide the same cleaning performance as 3M Novec™ solvents and that are suitable for future usage. 3M announced that by end of 2025, 3M is going to discontinue the manufacture of their engineered fluids including the Novec Fluids which will include the Novec 71DA, 71DE, 72DA, 72DE, 73DE, 7100, 7200 & 7300. Also, 3M has been limiting the amount of solvent they will supply customers. So you might not be able to “stock-up” for future use.
