WHY WOULD I NEED A ROTATING BASKET?
Rotating Basket Handling Systems provide comprehensive cleaning to parts that would benefit from tumbling. The rotation enables parts to be cleaned evenly without the need for manual shaking, thus providing uniform cleaning of bulk parts held together by machining oils and other contaminants.
Rotating baskets help break the bond between the parts, assisting the cleaning process. The ability to load parts into a basket and then have the automated system process the parts while allowing the operator to perform other functions reduces cleaning processing errors while increasing productivity and efficiency. Operators can be completing other tasks while the vapor degreaser is processing parts.
Additionally, the hoist allows for more and/or heavy parts to be processed than would otherwise be possible by a single operator. The uniformity of cleaning process and reduced operator error makes hoists (or lifts) an excellent addition to any vapor degreasing system.
Automated Rotating Basket Features
The basket is designed for operation with our Automated Basket Elevator System.
The rotation is driven by a gear motor, sprockets, and a chain.
A square part basket with lid, inserts into the rotating basket's carrier and the carrier door is closed.
At the conclusion of the cleaning cycle, the basket is removed and the next basket inserted into the rotating fixture.
