A DIRECT TCE AND NPB REPLACEMENT
AeroTron™-AE can be used in your current asphalt analyzer to replace TCE (trichloroethylene) which will not be allowed for commercial use after September of 2025, and to replace nPB (n-Propyl Bromide) which is now considered a HAP (Hazardous Air Pollutant).
AeroTron™-AE is a direct replacement for both TCE & nPB solvents.
ASTM AND AASHTO COMPLIANT SOLVENT
EnTron™-AE is approved for use in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO specifications. It is the preferred solvent of many DOTs across the country as it is specifically formulated for asphalt extraction applications. EnTron-AE is a direct replacement for TCE and works equally well in centrifuges and older & newer analyzers.

Care must be taken when choosing solvent for your asphalt extraction application. Differences in purity, moisture content, non-volatile residue, and stabilizers can affect the performance. Reliance Specialty Products specifically formulated our AeroTron-AE & EnTron-AE to exacting standards for asphalt extractions. Both options have no flash point, are fast evaporating, and are Azeotropic compositions. Best of all, whether you are using a centrifuge, older or newer automated analyzers, both solvents will optimize your extractions.
